The Line

The line goes from place to place,

And divides the skin colors from face to face,

Black, white, yellow and brown,

The line is straight, the line is round,

That connects us all around,

Even though we are different ,

We still have the power to build freedom

As strong as a tower and as sweet as a flower,

Because we have Love, Hope and Dream,

And that brings all of us all together,

The colors of the skin don’t matter,

Because we held each other

With love like sisters and brothers,

Everyone has a different face that is full of grace,

For we still dream, a dream of happiness and faith,

Soon the line will break,

Reuniting face to face.

Hooray for freedom!

Hooray for love!

Hooray Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!!!
